Currently 2018 | Week 18
Reading Into Thin Air and Eleanor & Park this upcoming weekend. And lots of reading with Violet.
Trying to catch up on some writing. I got behind a bit, and I really want to catch up.
Drinking tons of coffee this week. Dominique has taken it upon herself to be awake around 6:30 every morning demanding breakfast (and therefore wake me up as well), followed shortly by Zach.
Doing more purging around the house. We trying to reorganize some rooms and make more room for all 5 of us, which means that we're getting rid of more stuff.
Going away this weekend, sans kids and dog!
Loving that Zach has finally figured out how to crawl. Although he found out that he can go into his sister's room if the door is open and make a mess.....
Hating that we've been blasted by a very cold wind lately. The Sun is finally coming out and warming up, but the wind makes it really cold.
Hoping that Ruby will do fine at the Kennel for the weekend. We had some last minute change of plans concerning who was looking after Ruby, so we opted to put her in a Dog Kennel. She didn't look too happy when we left her
there as it's her first time away from us as well.
Thinking about how quiet it's going to be this weekend.
Hoping that my kids don't drive Grandma and Aunt Sam up the wall. My Mom and sister are keeping all 3 kids for the weekend while we're away. I'm not too concerned about the girls, but this will be Zach's first time sleeping at Grandma's place and his first time away from me for the night.
Listening to my podcasts as usual. It helps pass the time when doing household chores.
Celebrating our 10 Year Anniversary this weekend by heading out to Pinewood Lodge sans kids and dog. We spent our Honeymoon and 1st Anniversary there, so it's fitting that we go back to celebrate our 10th.
Thanking Keith for taking down some huge trees in the front yard this week. Some of the branches on one side were starting to bang on the roof and the other side was leaning way over the neighbors drive way. So it had to come down. Now just to finish cleaning up all the branches.
