Pioneer Days Parade 2012

Had a pretty good day today, but it did get off to a rough start.  Violet got up 3 times last night (around 1:30, 3 and 5) and I was just utterly exhausted this morning. I was going to try to keep on getting up with Keith around 6am so that I could have a quiet morning to do my devotions until Violet got up around 8:30. But I slept until Violet woke up around 8:30. Oops.

Once we were both awake and fed, I got my stuff and Violet ready to go watch the Pioneer Days Parade that Steinbach does the Friday of the August Long Weekend. Seeing as trying to find a parking spot is just crazy, and it’s on Main Street which is a couple blocks away, I put Violet in the stroller and walked down there. I even managed to find Mike and Lisa and sit with them while the parade was going. Violet wasn't too sure about all the loud noises, but she did pretty good. She wasn’t a big fan of the bag-pipers though. All in all it was a pretty good parade and managed to get some good pictures of it as well.
