Ramblings of a Stay-at-Home Mom

Welcome to Thursday's Week in the Life! I'm going to be honest and say that today was a bit stressful. With Keith being gone since yesterday for work out of town and then some news about my Grandma having a heart attack, I felt very blah and a bit of a short fuse all day. There were good moments, but I was worried about my Grandma all day and I think it showed to the girls. Hopefully I  hear some good news soon about her. Any ways.... Because of all that, I'm a bit short on the photos today. And I wasn't really focused on using my DSLR today, mostly my iPhone. I'm just going to put a caption under the photos for today and leave it at that.  This morning started out at 6:30am for me. Even though I went to bed late last night, and with Keith being gone for work, I still opted to wake up early and have some quiet time for myself. It may have been a bit chilly in the house that early. Both girls were up at 7:30 and I'm always greeted with smiles from Dominique. And ...

Today was a bit off. Keith went out of town until tomorrow (crossing fingers) for work and so it was just me and the girls all day. Luckily I had enough things to keep them busy and keep me sane. And it all worked out in the end.  Instead of posting the timeline of what we did today, I took a whole bunch of photos in timeline fashion and posted the story about that photo. Makes it a bit more interesting and easier for me. Welcome to WITL for Tuesday!  As usual, it's photo and word heavy and I love it. It was a bit of a busy day today, but one that was still worth documenting. 7am: Me and Keith finally get our butts out of bed after hitting snooze a couple times. No nightmares during the night for Violet meant that I finally got some good sleep last night. We both enjoy a quiet kitchen with Dominique gone for the night and Violet still sleeping. After Keith leaves, I finish up my blog post from yesterday and check my social media. 8am:  Seeing as Violet’s still sleeping, I quickly hop in the shower and get cleaned up as we’re going to my Meme’s place this morning. Violet is awake when I get out of the shower and proceeds to grab some grapes from the fridge to eat for breakfast while I get changed and do breakfast dishes before my Mom picks us up. Got a text from Keith saying that he’ll most likely be gone for work tomorrow (Wednesday) to Friday. Boo! At least I know ahead of time. 9am:  ...
