Halloween 2015
A little late for posting Halloween, but oh well!
Halloween for us covered 2 days. Friday evening was Trick-or-Treating at the local mall and Saturday evening was spent going around to places.
Unfortunately for Violet, it was not the greatest weekend. She woke up Friday morning with a 100* fever, that took quite a while to go away. Thankfully I had Tylenol on hand for her and it helped. I did mention to her around supper, that it might be best to stay home from trick-or-treating at the mall. She was adamant that we had to go trick-or-treating at the mall that evening. Seeing as she was feeling better, I decided that we'd give it a go.

After braiding Violet's hair into 2 French Braids to go along with her Elsa dress and getting Dominique into her Snow White dress, we hopped into the car and headed to the mall.
When we got to the mall, Dominique opted to stay in the stroller as the mall was packed full of people and she felt safer in there. Violet did pretty good with the Trick-or-Treating, among lots of people. She went up to people, politely said "Please" or "Trick-or-Treat," and then thanked them for the candy.
While we were waiting in one of the lines, Violet started getting a bloody nose. Luckily my sister Sam was with me and she was able to grab Violet right away and rush her off to the bathroom. I followed her with Dominique in the stroller and we were able to get her nose bleeding stopped and got her cleaned up.
When we got home, both girls were able to have a little bit from their candy bowl and then head off to bed. Except for Violet. She wanted to stay up and watch a movie. I figured "why not?" She chose to watch Wall-E and we settled down on the couch and watched the movie. She did fall asleep for a bit, but managed to watch the entire movie and liked it.
On Saturday evening, Violet chose to dress up as Belle (from Beauty and the Beast) and Dominique was once again Snow White (it's the only costume I have that will fit her). Then began the car-hopping of Halloween Night. We made stops at 2 Grandparent's places, 1 great-grandparents place, and some friends. Me and Violet also hit up a couple houses around my Mom's place while Dominique stayed with my Mom, out of the cold and rain.
At the end of the evening, both girls had a small haul of candy that will probably last until Easter. And some good time as well.
