101 in 1001 Update - 1 Year Update

Has it been a year since I started this project? Geez. Unfortunately, I kind of forgot about this project after Zach was born, due to taking time to heal up, and when I looked at the calendar, I realized that I hadn't looked at my list in almost 6 months! Thankfully, I did get some stuff checked off the list without even realizing it. Go me! I haven't blogged about any of the completed projects, but time is a bit limited right now for me, so this will have to do. So far I've completed 32 projects out of 101, but I have until December of 2019 to get everything done. We'll see how I do. Completed: 4) Catch up Violet’s Baby Book before Baby #3 gets here -  May 28, 2017 5) Catch up Dominique’s Baby Book before Baby #3 gets here -  May 28, 2017 15) Complete 2017 December Daily -  February 9, 2017 23) Complete Travel Album #1 -  March 29, 2017 24) Complete Travel Album #2 -  May 28, 2017 29) Have a Maternity photo shoot -  July 7, 2017 30) Have a ne...

101 in 1001

Hi there! I'm starting a new goal-setting project called the 101 in 1001. Basically, you set 101 goals/things to do in 1001 days, which is about 1 goal every 10 days. I like this project due to the fact that I can set long-term and short-term goals and aim to have them done instead of constantly putting them off. I've come up with quite a few categories and goals to go along with them. And I'm really hoping (and crossing my fingers) that I'll be able to get a lot of these done. Start: March 20, 2017 Finish: December 16, 2019 Completed: 1/101 Blog 1) Blox 3x a week for 2 months 2) Set goals for 6 months and blog about them 3) Set up a Blog Calendar Creative 4) Catch up Violet’s Baby Book before Baby #3 gets here 5) Catch up Dominique’s Baby Book before Baby #3 gets here 6) Finish and Print 2013 Year in Review 7) Finish and Print 2015 Year in Review 8) Finish and Print 2016 Year in Review 9) Finish and Print 2017 Year in Review 10) Finish and Print 2018 Year in Review ...

101 in 1001 Update

I figured that it was time to do an 101 update, as it's been almost 3 months since I started this. It's been a bit challenging to get some stuff done, but I've also managed to get a couple things done in one day, which helps a lot. As of right now, I've done 17 completed goals, which isn't too bad. I know they say to aim for getting a goal done every 10 days to stay on track, but oh well. Here's what I've completed in the last 3 months: 11) 2010 photo album (sorted, uploaded, ordered, labelled, filed) - April 13, 2015 12) 2011 photo album (sorted, uploaded, ordered, labelled, filed) - April 13, 2015 I did both of these in one shot. I've picked up a couple photo albums that hold 300 photos for the year and then go through, select the ones that I want, print them out, label them with date and who's in the photo and insert them into the photo album. I managed to get both 2010 and 2011 into the same album (this was pre-kids, so not a lot of photos taken)...

101 Goals in 1001 Days

Welcome to 101 in 1001. This project entails that I come up with 101 things I'd like to do/get done in 1001 days (starting today March 6, 2015 and ending December 1, 2017). About a goal/item every 10 days. Completely do-able, especially for bigger projects. And I find it motivating as I have a deadline to meet and it keeps me moving forward. I've done this sort of project before the girls were born and let it fizzle away. I'm determined this time to complete it as much as I can. And if you want to hold me accountable, I'm all for that as well. These projects are a mixture of big goals (like reading 101 new books or painting the kitchen) and small goals (like trying 10 new recipes and printing off photos). And I like that. It means that I can choose what I want to work on right now and once some stuff lines up for the big projects (like finances and time for re-painting the kitchen), then we can do that. Here it goes and wish me luck! Blog 1) Blog 3x a week for a month 2...
